Join me as I talk you through my ABSOLUTE favorite workout ever in the history of all workouts. I do this workout at least 3 times per week and although I typically hop on a piece of weight-bearing cardio equipment (e.g. treadmill), many of you have asked for this workout using body weight exercises so you can get it done at home!

Your wish? My command. Here you go!

You’ll need to be familiar with the following exercises before you start this podcast, so have a quick watch of these how-to videos, then grab your earphones, your phone, your sweat towel and your water bottle and settle in for the best 22 minute workout EVER. 

Pushups

Squats (some of you will want to add a jump in here…so DO IT!)

High knees – pretty much just running on the spot, but lifting your knees up high and pumping your arms!

Burpees

Fast Feet

Methinks it’s time for a little, targeted core work! Grab your headphones, phone, water bottle and medicine ball and join me as talk you through a challenging yet fun core workout! 10 minutes, that’s all I want from you today. C’mon…you have ten minutes.

No med ball? No problem! You can use any ball that’s soccer/volley/basketball-sized. The med ball adds weight and a challenge, so if you find this workout too easy, you can easily do it with a dumbbell instead OR…go out and get yourself a med ball. This piece of fitness equipment is great to have around and adds some spicey variety to your at-home workouts!

011 – Workout Episode – Repeat What You Love

It’s time for a little love, don’t you think?! For this workout, I’ve created four blocks of exercises filled with some of the exercises I love the most. Burpees, punching, kicking, oh my! I love it all. 

During our 20-minute (22, if I’m being truthful, because there are breaks in there) workout together, I’ll “talk” (aka yell, coach, motivate…whatever word you choose to use to describe the sweet, sweet sound of my voice) a cardio and muscular endurance session that will leave you sweating, laughing (I hope) and feeling strong. 

Grab your headphones, water bottle and sweat towel and let’s get to work. No additional equipment is required for this workout, just your body and your drive to work hard. I’ll provide the motivation, music, cueing and hilarity (not really, but some of you like to laugh when you workout, so let’s just pretend I’m sometimes funny, ok?!). 

As always, we’re lucky enough to have permission to use mixes from steadymixes.com. Woop! Woop! Today’s choice is their October 2017 130 for 60 mix and it is AWESOME. Seriously, I love this mix. 

Before you start, watch this QUICK VIDEO so you know the moves I’m talkin’ you through. Otherwise, you’re just listening to my voice and flailing around. And while I may think that to be super funny, I figure you want to get a good workout and do the exercises safely and properly.
