Safe and Sound Protocol

The Safe & Sound Protocol is a listening intervention designed to reduce stress and auditory sensitivity while enhancing social engagement and resilience. I specialize in working with children with anxiety and/or autism.

About Lindsay Gee

Lindsay is a Ph.D., fitness fanatic, support warrior and mental health advocate.

Who I am, and why I want to help you and/or your child feel better:

Fitness has been a part of my life since I was about 4 years old. I remember going to classes with my Mom while she led “her ladies” as an aerobics instructor. I’ve grown a little since I was a kiddo and now hold a PhD in Exercise Physiology.

I truly, truly believe that moving your body in a purposeful way can support both your physical and mental health. I've seen time and time again that simple movement programs have an incredible impact on managing mental health and mental illness.

When mental illness made its way into my family's life, I dedicated myself to learning all I could about how to use exercise as medicine (not to replace medication, mind you, but SUPPLEMENT it) to boost mental health.

I then dove into learning about the Safe & Sound Protocol as I saw my son battle anxiety for years on end with no relief. I had a hard time finding someone available to work with my son on SSP, so I got certified to offer it myself.

Whether you're looking for a fitness program to boost your mental health OR you're looking for someone to take you or your child through the Safe & Sound Protocol - I can help.

I also have strong shoulders and an open heart if you just need a little support as you navigate the mental health system.
