Hot Mama’s IGNITE Program – Torch Level: Day 5

Day 5 and I’m alive! Yeah…I may try to rhyme each day! HA! Probably not…mostly because I’ll forget that I said I would, my mine is a sieve, I swear.

Anywho…Day 5 and I’m happy to report that nasty bleeeeep of a sugar headache has finally subsided. Even better? I woke this morning with a TON of energy…which is good, because there was A LOT going on today!

I managed to get some snuggles on the couch with my two favorite people and then I hit my gym (aka my garage) and got to work. Today I did the OHM’s Fav (yup, still my FAV) and Full Body Torch #2. I’m officially on fire.

I was able to run the fastest I have been able to at my high includes for my “9’s” and I felt strong and challenged. I’m always so freakin’ glad when the final 2-minute push at “9” is over and I think I gasp for air the entire recover minute…but I did it.

Moved on to Full Body Torch #2 and I was driiiiiiping sweat. DRIPPING.

Now…foodwise…I’m doing alright. I made some coconut cream larabars with dried cherries and some chocolate peanut butter avocado pudding (recipe to follow this week) to curb my sweet tooth. Drinkin’ lots of water and missing wine. Big time. Seriously…this heat just begs for a cold, crisp glass of wine. I’m not sure I will succeed in not having any today…hmmmmm.

Anywho…I’ll try. Now…I must go, but know this…Day 5 has been awesome. My energy is picking up, my nutrition is getting better, the sugar withdrawal is subsiding and I’m getting back into meal prep. Go me!
