Womp, womp, womp. Yeah, that sugar withdrawal headache is still nagging at me. At least it’s a little decreased today, just a jackhammer set to “gentle” on the back of my eyeballs…soooooooo…progress?
Today’s a great workout day! Wanna know why? Because it’s just ONE workout for Torch in Hot Mama’s IGNITE program! Yup! I got my Metabolic Workout #2 done in 30 minutes, decided to throw in 50 pushups just for my kind of fun and now I’m downing my water.
I’m also happy to report I’ve finally gotten back into my breakfast routine. For those of you who don’t know me that well, I struggle with the concept of breakfast. If I eat early on in the morning, I often feel nauseous. The problem is that if I don’t eat early on, I usually find myself at 3pm realizing I’ve yet to eat…well…anything all day.
Yeah, I’m one of those. Those people who forget to eat. What can I say? I’m a busy Mama, other things take precedence and then I realize it’s 3pm so I jam crackers, cheese, granola bars, muffins, peanut butter cups, whatever the heck I want into my big pie hole because by then I am STARVING.
So…breakfast is a big one for me. It helps me set my metabolism and I often find that if I DO eat breakfast, I’m hungry by the time I’m supposed to eat next. It’s quite odd and I’m sure a dietitian would have an explanation for me. But, I know that if I eat breakfast, I eat more consistently throughout the day.
Give it a whirl. It’s amazing the energy food provides. Bahahahaha…bet that little tidbit just BLEW your mind!
Day four and I’m doing alright. Don’t get me wrong, I’m already planning my cheat day while we’re at Tough Mudder with the Hot Mamas…wine, chocolate, bread, cheese, wine, wine, wine. It’s going to be good. And well deserved, but for now I forge on and already feel my energy boosted and I have just a little more confidence in my step.
Oh and Metabolic Workout #2…is AWESOME. I love it. It doesn’t have my OHM’s Favorite love just yet, but oh la laaaaa…it’s a gooder. You’re gonna love it. And hate it. Then love it again.
I’m off to eat a peach and drink some water. How ‘bout you go to the same?
